How to Search Aderhold Funeral Home Obituaries
- Open Aderhold’s official Obituaries page. Use aderholdfh.com/obituaries.
- Use the name-search field. Start with the person’s full commonly used name.
- Simplify the name if needed. Try the surname alone, a nickname, maiden name, former surname or spelling variation.
- Choose the correct result. Compare the person’s community, age, dates and family information.
- Open “Visit Obituary.” The full memorial carries information that may not appear on the archive card.
- Read the Service Schedule. Note visitation, rosary, funeral, Mass, memorial service, graveside service and burial separately.
- Use “Get Directions” for the specific event. Do not automatically navigate to South Reagan Street if a church or cemetery is listed instead.
- Recheck before travel. A memorial can be updated after the first publication.

For another example of recovering a difficult obituary search, see the Keefe Funeral Home obituary search guide, which explains name variations and archive verification in detail.
Read the Service Schedule Before You Start Driving
Aderhold memorials show several service patterns. Some events are held at the Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel, while others are held at churches, cemeteries or separate community locations.
Rural cemetery routing can be especially important in funeral notices. The Haysi Funeral Home obituary guide provides another useful example of separating funeral-home and cemetery destinations.
How to Watch an Aderhold Funeral Livestream
Aderhold has an official Live Services page. The funeral home says a stream normally begins approximately 3 to 5 minutes before the service starts.
- Open the person’s official obituary and confirm that the service is scheduled for the date and time you expect.
- Open Aderhold’s official Live Services page.
- Choose the service button associated with the correct memorial when one is displayed.
- Open the stream several minutes before the scheduled start.
- If you see “Video file not found” before the service, the funeral home’s instructions say it can mean the stream has not gone live yet.
- If the service has started but video is not playing, refresh the browser.
- Remember that Aderhold warns weather conditions or signal availability at the service location can affect streaming.
Flowers, Memorial Trees, Guestbook and Online Memorial Tools
Aderhold’s website can connect an individual memorial with service directions, flowers, memorial-tree options and guestbook or remembrance tools. Availability can vary by memorial.
The importance of using the family-approved source rather than a copied notice is also explained in the Heritage Funeral Home obituary archive guide.
If a Death Has Just Occurred
Aderhold’s Immediate Need page tells families to call (254) 826-5321 day or night. The funeral home says it will arrange to bring the deceased into its care and set a time for the family to begin arrangements.
- Call Aderhold. Use (254) 826-5321 when the family has selected Aderhold Funeral Home.
- Explain where the deceased is located. Tell staff whether the death occurred at home, a hospital, nursing facility, hospice or another location.
- Confirm the doctor or coroner situation. The funeral home’s immediate-need form asks whether a doctor/coroner has been notified and requests physician information used in the death-certificate process.
- Tell staff about prearrangements. If a plan is already on file, give the name under which it was made.
- Identify the person legally responsible for disposition. Aderhold’s process asks for that person’s relationship and contact details.
- Set the arrangement meeting. Do not assume a public walk-in schedule; staff will arrange a time with the family.
Information and Documents to Prepare
Aderhold’s “When Death Occurs” guidance identifies information the funeral director may need for the death certificate and arrangements.

- If planning online, answer the package questions and customize the selections.

McLennan County Probate and Estate Help

Before calling
- Locate the original will if one exists.
- Obtain certified death certificates.
- Identify known property and financial accounts.
- Identify likely heirs or beneficiaries.
- Ask which estate procedure may apply.

Social Security After a Death
The Social Security Administration says funeral homes generally report deaths to SSA. If a funeral home does not report the death, SSA says the family should call and provide the deceased person’s name, Social Security number, date of birth and date of death.

Parking and arrival
The official contact page reviewed does not publish detailed parking instructions or a standard public parking-capacity statement.
For accessibility needs, a large visitation or questions about where to enter, call Aderhold before the event.
